On 28 June 2019, the VIC Ukrainian Club and its partner organizations welcomed a group of more than thirty Ukrainian students of the faculty of international relations from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv at the Vienna International Center, colloquially also known as UNO City. A guided tour was conducted by Oleh Verbovyi, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna who unveiled the most existing stories about the United Nations in Vienna and exposed hidden corners and corridors of the building designed by the Austrian architect Johann Staber and constructed between 1973 and 1979 north of the river Danube.
From 27 May to 7 June 2019, the Vienna International Centre (VIC), commonly known in Austria as "UNO City" where around 5,000 employees from more than 125 countries work at the United Nations organizations based in Vienna, hosts an extraordinary art exhibition "UA: Identity Reloaded".

For the first time, the Vienna International Centre (VIC) - one of the four Headquarters of the United Nations (UN) - hosted a series of numerus cultural events organized in the framework of the Ukrainian Week at the United Nations in Vienna from 12 to 16 November 2018. The initiative was organized with an overall purpose of promoting women´s empowerment and leadership, while introducing and popularizing Ukrainian culture and artists within the UN community. The Week was organized by the VIC Ukrainian Club in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations. Important financial support was provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
